I’m beginning to wonder if Pharrell puts any effort into his Adidas Stan Smith Women collaborations with adidas Originals, maybe I just don’t “get” his creative genius, but it feels like he’s not really trying that hard. Following his Polka Dot Pack, the newest Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals collection is this Big Dot Pack, which is about as exciting and paradigm-shifting as the name suggests.
HB got a pretty good look at this upcoming release, which turns out to have a breathable mesh upper printed with the monochromatic snakeskin pattern, creating what looked like a knitted upper. On closer inspection, the inside is tricked out as well, with a neoprene lining and cork insole. Dropping this weekend! Boston’s Concepts have decided to ditch the idea of ‘tennis whites’ for their rendition of the
popular Adidas Stan Smith Men. The colourway is a nod to Adidas Stan Smith Cheap win on the grass at Wimbledon back in 1972, one of only two Singles Grand Slam titles the iconic tennis player managed to win during his illustrious career.
Pharrell Williams and Adidas Stan Smith Sale have emerged from the candy lab again with a fresh swag of sneaks and gear to cap off the year. Bright colours are the focal point again, just like the previous delivery, but instead of block-coloured fluro joints, Pharrell shows an affinity for polka dots this time, both big and small. A bunch of Stan Smiths and track jackets are all splashed with circles contrasting against vibrant base colours.
